Best Chinese Restaurant Experience!
This is hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to! Every dish was a hit — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented.
The portions were generous, and the service was fast and friendly. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into each dish.
Whether you're coming with family or for a celebration, this place will not disappoint. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Chinese feast!

Looking for authentic Cantonese cuisine on the Gold Coast? Tasty Bamboo Garden is tucked behind Australia Fair and serves up generous portions of Cantonese classics. The staff are friendly and service is efficient. If you are looking for specific dishes, there is the ability to pre-order with the staff and chef.

I always go to Tasty Bamboo Garden for dinner, and it’s never let me down—definitely my weekly go-to spot.
Lindy, the owner, recently told me she was contacted by a firm claiming they could “remove low-rated stars” from her online reviews. She politely said no, happy with how her restaurant is doing.
She knows her diners personally and always handles any issues right away. She’s fine with honest feedback, but she won’t put up with anyone trying to damage years of hard work.
Lately, a few 1-star reviews have popped up from accounts that didn’t even eat at the restaurant. Just a reminder—let’s be kind. Trying to hurt someone else’s business on purpose is not cool.

Excellent Cantonese Chinese restaurant with dynamic friendly staff. Fresh deep fried ice cream with delicious pastry. Could not fault the food. Very skilled chef. All the dishes came out high quality and absolutely delicious. Ask the staff for recommendations if you don't know what to order.

My partner and I had our dinner here before we went for the musical. We’re warmly welcomed by Lindy, the owner, and we were seated in a nice table outdoor. She’s so friendly and explained clearly what we would have for our set dinner. Got us water and wine and managed to keep the flow of food in the right pace. The chicken corn soup was good and of right portion. The deep fried dim sum tasted ok too. The 2 mains that we ordered were salt and pepper squid and satay beef with vegetables. They’re very delicious and the portions were generous. That’s why we couldn’t finish the fried rice. The fried ice cream was perfect to finish the dinner. Overall very happy with the food and the service. It’s just a little hidden gem round the corner of Australia Fair. Don’t miss it if you like authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend!
